I am a physical therapist from northeast Ohio. I earned my bachelor’s in exercise science from Kent State in 2015. Then, attended Ohio University for physical therapy school where I received my doctorate in 2018. Since graduation I worked as a travel therapist in Ohio, Oregon, Washington, and California. I have worked in a variety of settings and have experience treating general orthopedic and athletic injuries, chronic pain, and movement dysfunction. I treat all musculoskeletal issues but my specialty is pelvic floor disorders including pain, incontinence, prolapse, diastasis recti, and pregnancy related pain and injuries. I use a variety of treatment techniques including dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, cupping, and manipulation. I use a holistic treatment approach including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and movement optimization to help my patients achieve their goals pain free. Currently I live in Peninsula Ohio with my husband and pup. In my free time I enjoy CrossFit, running, rock climbing, and hiking.

Dr. Kelli Koba is a physical therapist from Northeast, Ohio. She graduated from The Ohio State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2014 before she continued her education at Youngstown State University, earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017. She continued her post-graduate education by earning her advanced certificate in dry needling through the Institute of Integrative Dry Needling (IDN).

Kelli grew up playing sports where she developed her passion for exercise and movement but unfortunately obtained multiple injuries which resulted in surgical intervention. However, her personal experience with rehabilitation and return to sport inspired her to become a physical therapist. Prior to completing her education, Kelli also completed an internship at a CrossFit gym, learning to teach, assess, and correct movement and form.

Early in her career, Kelli spent several years working in the inpatient setting with an emphasis on treating neurologic conditions such as stroke, spinal cord and traumatic brain injury. She then transitioned into the outpatient setting, gaining experience with general orthopedics, sports injuries, chronic pain, vestibular and spinal impairments. She combines her knowledge and experience of the neurologic and musculoskeletal systems to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to treatment. By utilizing a variety of techniques including dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and cupping combined with extensive patient education, Kelli’s goal is to assist her patients in returning to their daily activities, sports, and hobbies safely and pain free.

Kelli currently lives in Brunswick, Ohio with her husband, son and dog. Outside the clinic she enjoys running, weight lifting, pilates, hiking, biking, snowboarding and traveling the world.
